Scott joins Sensato Capital with 10 years of
investment industry experience. Scott is a portfolio manager
currently developing risk models and analytical tools to support the
Sensato investment process.
Prior to joining Sensato, Scott served as senior researcher at Menta Capital developing risk models, stock-selection signals, and analytical software. As a portfolio manager at SAC Capital, he built and launched three global equity market-neutral strategies. Scott has prior experience at Barclays Global Investors as a research officer, where he developed portfolio optimization algorithms and software used throughout the firm. At Iris Financial Engineering, he developed front office trading systems and emerging market bond models. Scott began his career as an assistant professor of chemical engineering at the University of Southern California, where he authored ten scientific articles and received awards for outstanding teaching.
